What will you be doing with our poster submissions?

¿Qué harás con nuestras presentaciones de carteles?

Being a cinema, we would love to be showing and offering for sale movie posters as souvenirs. What better then having original designs. Especially ones that are about Zipolite. So combining the idea of exposure for the artist as well, this is where we went. We will maintain this website throughout the year as well as post on our FB Group (Firefly Cinema, Cine Luciernaga, Zipolite). We will feature the winners as well as any others that we find notable, unique, special and/or desirable (these may not have won due to missing some 'points' in our judging process). All submissions will be stored and labeled accordingly. If there is further interest in reproduction, selling, etc we will contact the artist directly and work out details. We will not print/sell anything without the cooperation of the artist!

Al ser un cine, nos encantaría estar mostrando y ofreciendo a la venta carteles de películas como souvenirs. Qué mejor que tener diseños originales. Especialmente los que tratan sobre Zipolite. Así que combinando la idea de exposición también para el artista, aquí es donde fuimos. Mantendremos este sitio web durante todo el año y publicaremos en nuestro FB Group (Firefly Cinema, Cine Luciernaga, Zipolite). Presentaremos a los ganadores, así como a otros que consideremos notables, únicos, especiales y / o deseables (es posible que estos no hayan ganado debido a que faltan algunos 'puntos' en nuestro proceso de evaluación). Todos los envíos se almacenarán y etiquetarán en consecuencia. Si hay más interés en la reproducción, venta, etc., nos pondremos en contacto directamente con el artista y resolveremos los detalles. ¡No imprimiremos / venderemos nada sin la cooperación del artista!

Will the exposition be of the original designs? 

¿La exposición será de los diseños originales?

Si los originales se han creado en Zipolite y los artistas están dispuestos y nosotros podemos, definitivamente estamos considerando incluir los diseños originales de carteles de películas, ya que se fomentan todos los medios. El original será devuelto al artista al final de la exposición.

If the originals have been created in Zipolite and the artists are willing and we are able, we are definitely considering including the original movie poster designs as all media is being encouraged. The original will be returned to the artist at the end of the exposition.

What digital format should I submit?

¿Qué formato digital debo enviar?

Es posible enviar originalmente un jpg para juzgar y cuando / si vamos a imprimir para la exposición / venta de su cartel, se requerirá un formato de mayor resolución.

It is possible to originally submit a jpg for judging and when/if we go to print for the exposition/sales of your poster, a higher resolution format will be required.

How do I give you my digital entry?

¿Cómo les doy mi entrada digital?

If in person we can copy your file from a USB Key or SD Card. Via email your file should be small enough for attaching to your email. If not there we can work it out through email correspondence.

Si es en persona podemos copiar su archivo desde una llave USB o tarjeta SD. A través del correo electrónico, su archivo debe ser lo suficientemente pequeño como para adjuntarlo a su correo electrónico. Si no está allí, podemos resolverlo a través de correspondencia por correo electrónico.

If I win do I have to be there for the Exposition?

Si gano, ¿tengo que estar presente en la Exposición?

It is not required for you to be here for the exposition. As wonderful as that would be we understand the difficult times we are living in.

Can a group of us submit an entry?

Short answer, yes. There will only be one prize if you should win. Division, etc will be up to you.

Being a nude beach can we have nudity on the poster?

Al ser una playa nudista, ¿podemos tener desnudos en el cartel?

The reason we are a nude beach is the rest of the world is not always cool with full nudity. Please keep it for the general public. Since we are using FB, follow their guidelines.

La razón por la que somos una playa nudista es que el resto del mundo no siempre es genial con la desnudez total. Guárdelo para el público en general. Dado que usamos FB, siga sus pautas.

Where do I even start?

We have a Facebook Page  or here on the Blog pages where we have posted links to blogs and webpages to inspire and encourage you. They say write what you know....what if your experience in Zipolite were made in to a movie?! Is it a romance? Who did you fall in love with? Who broke your heart? Was there a missed connection? Start with the story or start with the picture it all works.

¿Por dónde empiezo? Tenemos una página de Facebook o aquí en las páginas del Blog donde hemos publicado enlaces a blogs y páginas web para inspirarte y animarte. Dicen que escribe lo que sabes ... ¿y si tu experiencia en Zipolite se convirtiera en una película? ¿Es un romance? ¿De quién te enamoraste? ¿Quién rompió tu corazón? ¿Hubo una conexión perdida? Comienza con la historia o con la imagen, todo funciona.

May I make more then one entry? Not this year. As we grow and improve we may allow multiple entries.
